Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (Sit-down, Reach, and Order Pickers) to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure strapping.
- Perform inventory counts and stock checks using handheld RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Inspect forklifts for safety hazards and report any mechanical issues to maintenance immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipping targets.
- Handle physical tasks including bending, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A, B, or C Forklift Operator License.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekends.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate RF scanning equipment.
- Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
