Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move inventory within the warehouse.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trailers and shipping containers in accordance with safety standards and shipping schedules.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting and inventory organization to ensure accuracy in our warehouse management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Packaging: Properly package and label goods for shipment to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CPLP or equivalent).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Physical Stamina:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Focus: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
