Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Unload inbound shipments safely and efficiently, verifying product against receiving documents.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for outbound delivery.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure operational safety and perform basic maintenance checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and update records.
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification and at least 1 year of recent warehouse forklift operating experience.
- Proven ability to work efficiently during night shift hours (e.g., 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and basic warehouse management software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to Virginia Beach facility and excellent attendance record.
