Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (Counterbalance, Reach, Pallet Jack) in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, stock, and organize stock in the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy and organization.
- Load/Unload Operations: Safely load and unload trucks using proper equipment, adhering to weight limits and cargo securement protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies immediately to the Shift Supervisor.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily operations, including movement of materials and equipment checks.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (CFO) or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating Night Shift schedules (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Driving Record: Valid Driver's License (Class C) required for yard truck operations.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy for logging data and using warehouse management systems (WMS).
