Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, locate, and stack inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment.
- Load and unload trucks accurately using proper handling techniques to prevent damage.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock management as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver's license (preferred for yard jockey duties).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- No prior forklift experience required; training provided.
