Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Inspect machinery for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks as directed.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always mandatory for entry-level positions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training for forklift certification.
