Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for safety issues and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipment, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts and labeling.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines set by OSHA at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform routine checks on inventory logs and ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No prior forklift experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for reading labels, tallying orders, and handling cash/credit transactions if applicable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
