Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Manage inventory counts and documentation to maintain accurate warehouse records
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational processes
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license preferred
