Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate inventory placement and stock rotation.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and work areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Assist in inventory counting and cycle counts as directed by management.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels and logistics needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age (required for operation of industrial equipment).
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification (full training and certification provided by the company).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods on concrete surfaces.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
