Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse facility.
- Pallet Stacking: Stack and restock inventory on pallets according to safety guidelines and warehouse standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Inventory Control: Assist in inventory counts and ensure accurate tracking of stock levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Help fulfill customer orders by organizing and retrieving products efficiently.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: No prior forklift experience is required; on-site training is provided.
- License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English language skills required for safety communication.
