Job Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to launch a career in the supply chain industry.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, or Counterbalance) safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Stock and organize inventory on shelves and racks according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, strictly adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed by management.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous forklift experience is a plus, but not mandatory; we will train the right candidate.
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for reading labels and processing inventory.
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions (warehouses can be hot or cold).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
