Responsibilities
- Accurate Picking and Packing: Retrieve, verify, and pack products according to customer orders and safety guidelines with high accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent shipping errors.
- Inventory Management: Update inventory records and perform cycle counts as directed by the shift supervisor.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Keep your workspace clean and organized, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to read pick tickets and verify item counts and descriptions accurately.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to operate barcode scanners or handheld devices.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
