Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage 15+ warehouse staff through scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to maintain zero-accident standards
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure on-time delivery schedules
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance checks for forklifts and material handling systems
- Generate operational reports on productivity, accuracy, and cost efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficiency in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives
