Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack merchandise according to customer orders and picking tickets.
- Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper packaging materials are used to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate handheld scanning devices (RF guns) to verify item codes and quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and 5S standards.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Handle physical tasks including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or order fulfillment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
