As an Order Packer, you will be the final link in the supply chain, ensuring products are prepared for shipment with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Pack & Ship: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and packing materials.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and ensure packaging is secure to prevent damage during transit.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify stock levels and update inventory records as required.
- Equipment Use: Safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the packing station organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, retail stocking, or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode scanners or handheld devices.
- Focus: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and a consistent work history.
