Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Efficiently select products from shelves and securely pack them into boxes for shipment using appropriate materials.
- Quality Control: Verify order accuracy against packing slips to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by tagging and organizing stock.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate hand-held scanners and standard warehouse equipment (tuggers, pallet jacks) as trained.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Packaging: Apply proper labeling, shrink wrapping, and sealing techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate warehouse aisles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
