As an Order Packer, you will be the final touchpoint before our products leave our facility. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately preparing orders for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Pack customer orders efficiently and accurately using appropriate packaging materials and techniques.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for quality assurance and damage.
- Label, sort, and apply shipping tags to all packages according to established protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Collaborate with the pickers and shipping team to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and pricing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn warehouse management software.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
