Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Accurately select and package customer orders according to specific guidelines.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and stock organization within the warehouse.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage or defects prior to packing and shipping.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe by adhering to 5S standards.
- Documentation: Properly label packages and complete necessary shipping paperwork.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for extended periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and reduce errors.
- Basic Math: Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory and shipping.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.
