Responsibilities
- Receive incoming orders and inspect merchandise for quality and quantity accuracy.
- Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information, barcodes, and destination details.
- Operate handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and update stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times to comply with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the picking team to ensure orders are processed efficiently and meet daily production targets.
- Report damaged goods or discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not strictly required.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
