Responsibilities
- Pack Products: Accurately and efficiently pack items into boxes or crates, ensuring all safety and shipping guidelines are followed.
- Verify Orders: Cross-reference packing slips and digital orders to ensure the correct products are being shipped to the right customers.
- Labeling: Apply shipping labels, barcodes, and postage accurately to all packages to ensure seamless transit.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts by reporting discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep packing stations organized, clean, and free of safety hazards at all times.
- Quality Control: Perform final checks on packed orders to ensure quality standards are met before handoff to shipping.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and prevent shipping errors.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team structure.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, fulfillment centers, or retail stocking is preferred.
- Basic Skills: Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, and digital scanners.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overtime as needed.
