Responsibilities
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy against pick tickets and scan items into the system.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information and barcodes.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hire).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with loading outbound trucks and unloading inbound stock as needed.
- Report damaged inventory or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners or RFID systems.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily productivity targets.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
