Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight by hand, forklift, or pallet jack with precision and care.
- Package and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and meeting strict deadlines.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records in the warehouse management system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hiring).
- Assist in the organization and layout of the warehouse to maximize storage efficiency and workflow.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve operational challenges and improve productivity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure order accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new warehouse management software quickly.
