Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) and perform routine equipment inspections.
- Verify accuracy of orders against packing slips and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and stock organization to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and bending/reaching.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
