Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload freight onto and off of trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in compliance with safety protocols.
- Packing and Shipping: Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are accurate.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of obstructions to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Reliability: A strong track record of attendance and punctuality.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
