Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory accuracy through systematic stock rotation and cycle counting
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to transport refrigerated goods (training provided)
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in sub-zero environments
- Inspect and document temperature-controlled storage conditions hourly
- Load/unload shipments using efficient stacking techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in -10°F to 32°F environments for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR (required for equipment operation)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper technique
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
