Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move food products safely and efficiently
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (0°F to 32°F) for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (forklift certification provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 6+ hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
