Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload refrigerated trucks in sub-zero environments
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in storage zones
- Inspect and sanitize equipment, facilities, and packaging materials
- Accurately track inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols for cold storage operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and order fulfillment
- Document daily activities and maintain compliance records
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures below 0°F for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Physical stamina to stand/walk on concrete floors for 6+ hours
