Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move products within cold storage zones
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels hourly using digital sensors
- Sanitize equipment and facilities according to HACCP standards
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for timely product rotation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold weather hazards
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable items
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Reliable transportation for varied shift scheduling
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly with proper technique
