Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate automated sorting and packaging equipment
- Sanitize facilities and equipment per FDA standards
- Assist with quality control checks on perishable goods
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 0°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
