Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight trucks efficiently and safely using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Sort, pack, and organize products within the cold storage facility.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of storage areas and equipment.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation to prevent spoilage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents.
- Follow all company protocols regarding personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures below 35°F (-2°C) for extended periods.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid ID.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety guidelines.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
