Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by checking items against invoices and shipping logs.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment safety inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, organizing, and removing debris.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation as directed by management.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills for scanning and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Valid Driver's License (for warehouse driving duties if applicable).
