Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety protocols
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements in warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize storage and streamline loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety standards at all times
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized work areas and reporting safety hazards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
