Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a safe and efficient manner to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Verify inventory accuracy by cross-referencing shipping manifests and stock locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment operation and warehouse conduct.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily throughput and productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (must provide valid certification or willing to obtain).
- Previous experience in warehouse logistics, material handling, or related fields.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and navigating uneven surfaces.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
