Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight from trailers and trucks, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and checking incoming stock against purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and 5S standards.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist in packing, sealing, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
