Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock within the warehouse.
- Perform routine safety inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator license (required).
- Previous experience operating a forklift (e.g., Reach Truck, Counterbalance) is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
