Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move, stack, and organize inventory with precision.
- Load and unload trailers and shipping containers efficiently and safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety protocols are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counting.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
