Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery trucks.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock placement using RF scanners.
- Perform routine safety inspections of forklift equipment before and after each shift.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping targets.
- Assist in general warehouse housekeeping and organization of storage areas.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
