Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts daily for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning pallets and logging stock movements into the warehouse management system.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards to comply with OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Follow all company policies regarding safety gear usage and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
