Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure equipment is in proper working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately counting stock, organizing pallets, and managing stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring aisles and storage areas are free of obstructions.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not strictly required for the right candidate.
