Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks accurately, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
- Inspect equipment daily for any maintenance needs or safety hazards before operation.
- Stack and organize merchandise in designated storage areas to optimize warehouse space.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in inventory counting and stock management as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
