Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in stock counts and documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized warehouse layout, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored correctly.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions (if applicable).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and shipping documentation.
- Availability: Flexibility to work part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Background: Clean background check required.
