Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Organize and stock inventory accurately, ensuring proper labeling and placement for efficient retrieval.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times to prevent accidents and hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (CFP/CFP-A) required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and navigating tight warehouse aisles.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
