Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning pallets and maintaining organized storage zones.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Assist in the preparation of shipments, including packaging and labeling.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs to management.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to 5S principles.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (CFA or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory data.
