Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve any delays or issues with carriers.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage inventory levels related to outbound stock and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Utilize logistics software (ERP systems) to update shipment status and generate reports.
- Assist in cost analysis of shipping methods to optimize logistics spend.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
