Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse facility.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas, adhering to strict safety and inventory management protocols.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments using scanning equipment and digital inventory systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping floors and organizing aisles to prevent hazards.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe workplace for all team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift (Minimum 1 year preferred).
- Certified forklift operator or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Ability to read and understand safety labels, load sheets, and operational manuals.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
