Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Manually drive and control forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials within the facility and loading docks.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments while accurately updating inventory records to ensure stock accuracy.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently, adhering to strict safety protocols to prevent damage to goods and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing routine cleaning and organizing tasks.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts and working in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver’s License required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety in inventory handling.
