Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Inspect equipment daily for any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.
- Assist with inventory management by tagging and sorting stock appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse managers regarding daily targets.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and reading shipping labels.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs (required).
- Willingness to undergo forklift certification training upon hiring.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Jacksonville facility.
