Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies while performing daily tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime when required.
