Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning products and updating the Warehouse Management System (WMS) in real-time.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times, including proper lifting techniques and equipment maintenance checks.
- Prepare pallets and containers for shipment, ensuring they are properly labeled and secured.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not always required for qualified candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and scanning.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends or overtime as needed.
