Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper placement of goods on racks.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment in adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (Must provide valid certification).
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and paperwork.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions and fast-paced environments.
- Previous experience in a logistics or warehousing setting is highly preferred.
